Pony Express

This post is a shout out to all my Pony friends. On Halloween we visited the Pony and it was so nice to go there!! The school is different because there are so many new teachers and new students, but it still has the same feel. I love the building, the smells, and the drive there. I didn't like the drive the five years I made it, but loved it this trip.

When we walked into the school the hall music made me laugh and cry at the same time. Thanks to all the Pony girls for being such great people and for making Pony Express a great place with so many memories. I know it is a special place and will always be a good school. I am proud to say I was a faculty member of Pony Express.

For all you Pony Express "old timers" like me, it was so good to see you and I miss you!!

Halloween!!

Christiana was a spider for Halloween, it was a perfect costume for her, I have been trying to download some video of her, but it hasn't worked out as of yet!! We had so much fun in Utah visiting our family and friends.

I wasn't joking about her golf ball. She has it ALL day long. It's cute!!

I love the last picture in this series, it is her new smile, her "chessy smile". She loves to do this smile when she is trying to catch your attention and show you she is interested in talking with you. She was smiling like this a lot a couple weekends ago when we were in Utah with all our family and friends. When we were in Target yesterday she was smiling like this to the clerk for a good few minutes and the clerk didn't look down at all and Christiana was so confused why her smile wouldn't catch someone's attention!!

Christiana started pulling herself up on everything, she is standing up in her crib every time I come to get her. She is loving to stand up on everything!! We have so much fun playing and working all day. She took a golf ball from my mom's house the last time we were in Utah and she hasn't wanted to let it go since. She baths, eats, and plays with it in her hand. I'm sure you will see a golf ball in all the pictures of my next post!!

Hello!!

To all of my friends out there who are diligent bloggers, hello!! I am so sorry that I'm not good at blogging, it's not really my thing, but I will try harder to keep you all updated with bits of news and pictures. Christiana is doing so well, we have so much fun all day together. She has so much personality and likes to move around and play with anything she can get her hands on!! She likes to look at books now and looks at her bookshelf and smiles and ooh's and ahh's when she wakes up. She has been doing the army crawl thing for a while and is now almost up on all four and pulling herself up. It's so fun to see her explore everything and get her little hands on everything!! She just started clapping her hands the other day and it is so cute!! She's a great eater and eats a couple solid meals a day now. She's got the pincer grasp down and loves to feed herself anything on her tray. I love being a mom, taking care of her and playing with her. This picture was a couple of months ago, she's gotten a lot bigger. More pictures on their way!
