Hello!!

To all of my friends out there who are diligent bloggers, hello!! I am so sorry that I'm not good at blogging, it's not really my thing, but I will try harder to keep you all updated with bits of news and pictures. Christiana is doing so well, we have so much fun all day together. She has so much personality and likes to move around and play with anything she can get her hands on!! She likes to look at books now and looks at her bookshelf and smiles and ooh's and ahh's when she wakes up. She has been doing the army crawl thing for a while and is now almost up on all four and pulling herself up. It's so fun to see her explore everything and get her little hands on everything!! She just started clapping her hands the other day and it is so cute!! She's a great eater and eats a couple solid meals a day now. She's got the pincer grasp down and loves to feed herself anything on her tray. I love being a mom, taking care of her and playing with her. This picture was a couple of months ago, she's gotten a lot bigger. More pictures on their way!

For those of you who know my dear friend Beth, you know what a sweetheart she is and how she is always doing so many things for everyone around her. Well, if you like my blog A LOT more, like I do, it is all because of Beth. Thank you Beth for making my blog SO much more pleasant to look at. Beth is one in a million and I miss her more than she'll know!! Thank you, thank you!!

Pregnant!!

Well, here I am (the bottom picture) exactly six weeks to the day, almost to the minute, before having Christiana. The top picture is almost exactly four weeks before. These were taken in our house, you can see our work in progress, one is of our kitchen and one is in the family room. I look like I was going to have her the next day!! I would get so many comments from people, like "Are you having twins?" "I bet you are so uncomfortable!" "You must be having a boy because you are sticking out so much!" "You can't even tell you are pregnant from behind". As you can see I am wearing the same shirt in each one because I didn't have many shirts that fit!! A week or two before I delivered Christiana I had to go to the mall and find some more shirts that would be long enough to cover my belly. I knew I had to when my longest maternity shirts weren't covering my belly anymore and some of my small students could see my belly. I basically had to find dresses. I heard a couple walk by me and say, "Oh my gosh, did you see that lady, her belly was sticking out so far." Needless to say, my skin and ab muscles are still recovering. Many of my friends that were pregnant at the same time would say they wished they carried like me and didn't gain weight or expand lengthwise. If they saw my skin they might change their mind! The great thing is that is all worth it and my pregnancy was really good, I wasn't very uncomfortable. Another great thing is that skin is amazing and it is actually recovering.

Can you believe it!!!

So, I am actually posting!! I give myself little jobs to do before I can sit on the computer and post and the jobs do get done and then I never get to posting. So, here are some posts and let's hope they continue!! I have also figured out our camera with the computer and all that jazz so it will be easier. I know it's a pretty easy task to load pictures on to your computer but one of our cameras is a little difficult!! These pictures are the pictures we didn't purchase when we took Christiana to get her picture taken. It was hard to choose which ones to buy, they were so cute. These pictures were taken on the day she first rolled over. She is pretty fun!!!
